Chapter 4 of Princess Claire: A Royal Endowment introduces the first alien species the deva meet in the galaxy, the equusarians. For all of deva history, their god-star Tel'ruun has destroyed any interloper that dared to enter her gravity well, equusarian scouts included. Without any ability to travel beyond the light of Tel'ruun, the deva have been isolated from the rest of the galaxy, shunning relations with other civilizations and advancing far beyond the technology of any others. Now, for the first time, Princess Claire'elene has forged an alliance between the deva Visanian Star Empire and another alien culture- united against the looming Tzarak threat.
